I started by crafting the whisk in a separate document. I also copied over some elements of my current progress for reference in matching values and gradients. I used part of the stand mixer that initially went behind the bowl to match the darker grays and then used the part of the light to develop a gradient for the curved metal that makes up the whisk.
After completing the whisk, I brought it into the rest of the design and adjusted the stand mixer to show more of it. This involved tilting the top, shifting the bottom and adjusting the railroads to better flow around the stand mixer and into the bowl. I also darkened the inside of the bowl so that the whisk was more visible. I might need to add more adjustments to the back rim of the bowl though since now it stands out.
I also played around with adding the logos and text to the stand mixer and I am not sure I like it. I added the KitchenAid logo, the settings text as well as the text denoting the type of stand mixer. I think I like the settings text, but I am unsure of whether or not the logo and the "Artisan" text steals the focus of the piece. I might also need to adjust the settings text since it appears really small and difficult to see from further away.
